GUIDELINES FOR THE ART OF TANKA:

the art of tanka

the art of tanka will be accepting tanka for its first issue starting Sept 1st-Nov 1st 2023

please send a min of five tanka & a max of ten, so it gives me enough tanka to select one tanka.  print your full name directly beneath each tanka & your state abbreviation, foreign poets your country.  this helps me a lot.  use a simple font 12 size, single-spaced.

this issue is an autumn/winter theme or non-seasonal
deadline:   Nov 1st 2023

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: 

the art of tanka Send a min of five tanka & a max of 10 tanka, please DON'T send just one tanka. per submission period. the art of tanka does NOT publish tanka sequences or tanka prose/taiga.

No previously published tanka or simultaneous submissions; no tanka that has been workshopped, posted on-line, on Facebook/Twitter, etc or on a personal website/blog
