April 17 is International Haiku Poetry Day, a celebration of haiku poetry as it is practiced around the world. To celebrate IHPD, The Haiku Foundation sponsors the HaikuLife Haiku Film Festival and the Earthrise Rolling Haiku series on our blog. We encourage public events for IHPD, including readings, exhibitions, and competitions.
