The Haiku Foundation

The Haiku Foundation was founded in 2009 by Jim Kacian as a non-profit organization dedicated to the archiving of the accomplishments of the first century of English-language haiku, as well as to creating new opportunities in its second. Its resources include libraries, forums, archives, and publications. In 2010 the foundation created the HaikuNow! Competition in three categories—traditional, contemporary and innovative—as well as the Touchstone Distinguished Book Awards and the Touchstone Awards for Individual Poem.
