A native of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Barbara Buck has previously published three books of classical haiku. Dear Sir: I recently decided to once again wade the murky waters of the haiku world after having left it 50 yrs ago. Or maybe it left me. I used to read the Asahi Shimbun, just for the haiku. No more. A waste of time. If what I see here is “haiku”, I’ll eat my shorts! Bart Simpson could do better than this!
