Book of the Week: walking into the sun

bostok_walkingintothesunJanice M. Bostok is the godmother of Australian haiku, but of course she had to start somewhere just like the rest of us. This very early book of her work (shelters press, 1974) intimates the sensibility and command she would later present.

You can read the entire book in the THF Digital Library.

Do you have a chapbook published 2010 or earlier you would like featured as a Book of the Week? Contact us for details.

Haiku featured in the Book of the Week Archive are selected by Jim Kacian, and are used with permission.
