Today’s Book of the Week is The Way the Wind, by Hal Roth. a public-school administrator at Chesapeake High School in Maryland. Published by Wind Chimes Minibook in 1983, this chapbook of love haiku dedicated to his wife is a fitting record of his lasting feeling.

Correction: the Hal Roth who wrote this collection is not the same Hal Roth who sailed around the world with his wife. The haiku poet Hal Roth was a high school administrator.
