Book of the Week: Rain Drips from the Trees

Tom Lynch’s early chapbook Rain Drips from the Trees (self-published, 1992) is subtitled “Haibun along the trans-Canadian Highway,” and constitutes an extended travelogue. The sample poems are extracted from these haibun, and so of course are not couched in their intended contexts, but nevertheless exude the same essence as the work at last, which of course you can explore fully at your leisure.
