Book of the Week: Flute over Walden

Raymond Roseliep was a newcomer to haiku at one point, too, and this early thematic collection (Vagrom Chap Books, 1976) should give hope to all poets that they too might, with study and practice, achieve the pinnacle of their craft. Even here though there is evidence of Roseliep’s delight in wordplay, keen observational skills, and precision with the language.
