Book of the Week: All This Bowing
Jessica Latham dedicated our Book of the Week, All This Bowing, to “every bleeding heart”. A superb collection of haiku and tanka, it is neither clever, ironical, nor obscure, and with almost every poem it delivers a compassionate, self-forgiving vision of the natural world and our ambiguous place within it.
Highly recommended to those who enjoy reading haiku practiced in the time-honoured way.

happy my life didn’t go
as I had hoped

slowly becoming
peace
