Brian Robertson has been writing haiku throughout the years and contemplating and learning at Buddhist monasteries. Another book by Brian is Little Blues Book which Is a collection of lyrics that captures the heart and soul of the blues where blues masters offer words of wisdom on luck, love, loss, and life.

that plant in the pot
is called a Money Tree —
it has not worked yet

lone bird’s harsh call breaks
atop the closed liquor store –
another Christmas

63 years gone
best I walk the moon home —
the madness and thieves

notebook and pen
now where have I gone to?
ah, poem-catching
