Book of the Week: Against the Linoleum
Today’s Book of the Week, Against the Linoleum, hand-printed by the author, Gary Hotham, and published in 1979 by Yiqralo Press, is one of the classics of 20th century American haiku. Hotham is a master of haiku spareness and simplicity, and adept at bringing everyday images to life with resonant juxtapositions.

excellent work
Thanks. Perhaps it would be of interest to note that a collection of 120 of Gary’s haiku (1976-2016) was published last year in Hebrew translation:

Thank you. I enjoy reading early haiku books in the library, along with recent collections.
