2013 THF Fundraiser Release: THF Reading: Peter Yovu, and Book of the Week

Today’s new release is a reading by renowned poet, critic and theoretician Peter Yovu, filmed at his home in Vermont in 2012.

Peter’s haiku career dates back to the early 1990s, and has seen him traverse several styles and approaches to the genre. He is a vocal leader for the most cutting-edge practice, as has admonished haiku poets to “do something different.” He hosts the THF feature “Field Notes.”

Additionally we offer a new installment in that reader-favorite series, Book of the Week. See the BOTW post on the blog below this one.

The Haiku Foundation would like to thank Peter Yovu for his participation in the THF Reading Series. We would also like to thank Tom Clausen, who initiated the Book of the Week project this year.

Please consider making a donation to The Haiku Foundation during our Fundraising Drive, November 28 – December 6. During this time only, every dollar you contribute is matched by an anonymous patron. Your money goes twice as far, and helps the Foundation continue its important work. Thank you.
